Open doors at the Schuster Funeral Home in Bad Wurzach

Open doors at the Schuster Funeral Home in Bad Wurzach

As part of the learning unit “Death, Mourning and Christian Resurrection,” the students from Religious Class 4 and their teacher Bernadette Miller visited the Schuster funeral home in Bad Wurzach.

The learning group was warmly welcomed by owner Conny Schuster. After a little refreshment, the girls and boys were able to ask their questions about the topic and everyone listened attentively to the report from the specialist, who gave an insight into her professional field of activity, in which she is a 24-hour contact person and professional companion in the event of a bereavement.

In a second part, the children were given space and time to explore the funeral home. They learned about possible types of burial from display boards and were allowed to look at and touch coffins and urns.

A big thank you goes to the Schuster couple, who made this interesting and enriching learning course possible and opened doors and hearts for us. God bless you!
