Nancy and Bohlale.

“But you can increase this amount up to a million rand,” the host shared.

The presenter further mentioned that lies would deduct the money while the truth would add it to the collective prize pot. Additionally, the pair that lies the least has a chance of winning the prize pot.

After exploring the villa, some participants sat in one of the rooms while the rest of the participants gathered in the living area. Participants in both groups discussed the lies they told their partners.

Later that night, Love Never Lies: South Africa Participants attended their first ever “Love never lies Ceremony.” The host welcomed the participants and reminded them to be honest because depending on their honesty, the prize pot would make up the final amount.

She shared that a single truth would increase the prize pot by R10,000; Likewise, a single lie would deduct the same amount.

Munaka and Gontse were the first to take the test. Munaka’s answer to kissing another man during her three-week break from Gontse, namely “Yes”, turned out to be the truth. As for Gontse, the question was:

“Did you have sex with Munaka’s best friend?”

Gontse’s answer was “yes,” which EyeDetect confirmed. Since both answers were correct, R20,000 was added to the prize pot.

Naledi’s answer was incorrect, so R10,000 was deducted. Nikiwe replied “Yes,” which showed that she had feelings for her ex-fiancé. It was true, so R10,000 was added.

“I think you two need to lecture me. “You have so many monogamous issues, but how you define your relationship is the exact opposite,” the host told the couple.

Pretty and Sia were next. Both of the participants’ answers turned out to be lies, resulting in a total of R20,000 being deducted from the pot.

The next couple were Wilfred and Clayton. Wilfred’s answer was a lie that deducted R10,000. Clayton’s answer was a truth that earned R10,000.

Bohlale and Nancy’s answers: His “no” was a lie, while their “yes” was the truth. 10,000 was subtracted for Bohlale’s lie and then 10,000 was added for Nancy’s truth. The prize pot at this point was R500,000.

Next up were Lynn and Kuda. Lynn’s “no” was a lie, while Kuda’s “no” was also a lie. As a result, R20,000 was deducted from the prize pot for two lies.
